15 Below: celebrities for homeless
An initiative to provide warm jackets to people living on the streets was started by people we all know from show business.

The idea was signed by such names as Heidi Clum, Nelly Furtado, Elthon John i Kim Cattrall, who invited for the cooperation young, Canadian designers. On behalf of clients and staff, 3,000 15 Below jackets were donated to people living on the streets throughout Canada and the U.S. The 15 Below jacket – a coat designed for the homeless, using newspaper as insulation against the cold. Latest report shows that around 300,000 people in Canada and 744,313 in the U.S. live on the streets. Winter with it’s extremely cold weather can be hazardous, even fatal, to the homeless. If the sponsors are found, 15 Below project will to be continued in the following years. (BIBI)
